"I must have flowers,
always, and always."
*In 2020, I built the Posies Studio on my property to create a separate space for my business. It's become a sanctuary where I design, study, and learn, and I love spending time there.
*My husband, Jason, is one of a kind, and we have a love story that feels like the song “Don’t Stop Believing." I'm a small town girl from Idaho, and he's from South Detroit. We have three amazing children: Lila, Sterling, and Eloise, and a crazy little dog named Moose.
*My favorite flowers are whatever is in season, but there will almost always be roses in my designs. They're timeless.
*I like to think I am a gardening enthusiast and love growing my own cut flowers. I currently have 15 rose plants in my yard, and I'm always looking to add more flowers I can use in my designs.
*I am a sucker for gallery walls, date nights, movie nights with my family, Target, and traveling to new places. I'm also a huge fan of tacos and can never say no to a good piece of chocolate cake.
Hi, I'm Courtney! My love of flowers is rooted in my childhood memories of my grandmothers' gardens. The sweet smell of lilacs, the full, fluffy peonies, and the beautiful, ruffled roses that bloomed in their yards captivated my imagination and sparked my passion for floral design. I loved how they always had little posies of blooms in vases around their homes, and this is where "Posies" gets its name. My design philosophy also stems from growing up in the natural beauty of Idaho landscapes and the color palettes I find in my wholesalers' coolers and local flower farm fields.
Today, I strive to create designs that capture the same sense of joy and beauty that I experienced in those gardens as a child. I believe that flowers have the power to evoke a wide range of emotions, from nostalgia to romance to happiness, and I work closely with my clients to understand their unique vision and bring it to life through customized, one-of-a-kind designs.
Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, I'm committed to creating arrangements that are as meaningful and memorable as they are visually stunning.
With a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Horticulture and over 15 years of experience in floral design and weddings, I've had the pleasure of designing for events across multiple states, including Colorado, California, and Utah.
Based in the Boise area, I'm passionate about serving clients throughout Idaho and beyond. Contact me today to learn more about how I can help bring your floral vision to life.
